Pascuali Pattern Lal Shorts – Strickanleitung Sommer-Shorts (English)

I loved knitting these Lal Shorts in English. The dotted stitch pattern is fun and looks so cute in cotton yarn. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, even the drawstring waistband. Perfect fit for warm days and super comfy to wear.

I made these shorts for our beach vacation and they were ideal. Light, airy and the polka dot structure looks great. The English pattern was well written, no confusing abbreviations. I used a vegan linen blend and they drape beautifully. Got many compliments at the pool.

Really enjoyed this knit, great for using up summer yarn. The pattern is well structured with different sizes. I made the leg a bit shorter for my daughter, was easy to adjust. Wears well and washes nicely.

The shorts look super cute when finished and the fit around the waist with cord is clever. I found the dotted pattern a bit fiddly at first and had to rip back once. After a few rows it clicks. Not for total beginners, but rewarding.

Finished one pair and immediately cast on the next in another colour. The construction is smart and the fabric is stretchy without being baggy. Instructions in English are flawless, I had no trouble as a German knitter. Highly recommended for summer knitting.

Cute style and nice stitch detail, I like the concept a lot. My shorts came out a bit large in the hips despite swatching, cotton grows a lot. Had to add extra cord tightening and shorten. Second try with smaller size worked better.
